RIP

A while back I was wondering... I was wondering just how amazing nature really is. There is life in some of the craziest places like sulphur pools, volcanoes, ice, and possibly on other planets. Isn't that crazy? I think it is! But whats's even crazier is that time I met Henry the snail! What a guy!!

I met Henry not too long ago, I was just taking a nice stroll around the block and BOOM, this guy was chilling right by the stop sign! At first, I didn't really pay too much attention to him, but then, I noticed the various shimmering colours emanating from his divine body. It was spectacular, I felt like I was looking into a void of colours and that I was spontaneously peering into the depths of the universe. It was mesmerizing... Too mesmerizing!!

I knew that if I didn't get out of there, something bad would happen for sure. So I began to walk away, but as I started to move, there he was! Henry was somehow right in front of me, even when I turned around to walk in the other direction boomshakalakadingdong, he was in front of me again! How is a small snail moving so fast? It must be because of those crazy colours, maybe he has some sort of superpower? Like teleportation or super speed?

Anyways, at that moment, I really didn't know what his problem was, I just wanted to get back to my stroll, but nooooo, he had other ideas apparently! No matter how much I tried to go around this little dude, he got in my way, clearly, he wanted to start something, so I prepared myself to fight this little shithole! I readied my fists, and he readied his antennae! And so, we went at it, I launched the first strike, but missed since he used his ability! He then went for a counter-attack, but it dealt no damage!

I decided to pull a feint attack by pretending to punch with one hand, but actually going for a snatch with my other hand, but he clearly knew my thoughts, does this dude have telepathy as well? Fuck me! I have to figure something out, but as I was trying to think, he teleported again, and somehow, he was in the sky above me, rocketing towards me with intense speed! I had no time to dodge, so I had to brace myself. I put my arms in a cross formation and took the impact, but I was sent flying to the ground!

I decided to use this to my advantage, however, and I changed the fight into a wrestling format, but as soon as I did that, my consciousness began to fade! I didn't know what was going on, seeing as how I didn't really hit my head or anything, but then I realized, the snail's colour patterns were hypnotizing me! Such witchcraft shall be tolerated as I can't do anything about it anyway! But it won't be the end of me! He can't kill me no matter what he tries. For the only reason I yield victory is due to his sorcery!

After an hour, I finally came to! I ended up back in my apartment, but I don't remember how I got here. But as I started to look around, there he was, Henry the snail!! He prepared some food and tea for me and using the telekinetic powers that he apparently had, he moved the food closer to me, inviting me to eat! He also started "talking" using his telepathic power which was quite surprising as he could have just talked to me in the first place and I wouldn't have had to lose to a superpowered snail! But anyway, he was telling me how it was a lot of fun and that I was the only opponent that actually gave him a hard time, which is surprising as all I did was miss my attacks, fall down, and pass out. Anyway, apparently, he made the tea and food as a peace offering and a way to be friends.

I had no reason not to accept such a delicious-looking meal, nor his friendship, so I did exactly that. But, he proceeded to tell me that he needed to get stuff from his old establishment, and so I offered to walk there with him considering it was only around the block. Unfortunately though, as we were walking, I lost track of where he was considering he was zipping around super quickly for no reason. Because of this, I accidentally stepped on him and killed him! It devastated me, for days I wasn't able to leave my house and all I ate was radish! I don't even know where I got the radish, but it was there, so I ate it! Eventually, I ran out so I had to leave, and I decided that it was time to bury Henry. I found the best spot, it was in the forest beside some nice maple trees, some sunlight and some shade. He would have loved it, but as I was preparing to put him in the tiny grave I made, a gull swooped in and ate him! How terrible, I had no time to react and by the time I looked up, the gull was zooming away into the sky! I swear I'll get my revenge one day! Nobody is allowed to harm Henry aside from myself, and get away with it! Nobody!

Yes, this is a story about how I made a friend, and how I lost my friend! A very dear friend of mine!
